In general there are two basic room types; those with beds and the Korean
traditional (Ondol) rooms without beds. It should be noted that some
hotels do not have single bed rooms, and in any event there is no special tax for
foreign visitors. Meals are generally not included in the room
price.
Many hotels provide other facilities such as conference rooms, banquet halls, restaurants,
bars, duty free, health clubs and some provide duty free shopping. Most hotels are easily
accessible directly from the airport and other tourist attractions by public transportation.
Reservations should be made at least a week in advance. However during the high seasons
reservations should be made one month in advance.
